For this towel, I started with a much brighter contrast and then gradually worked down into a bit more nestled colors that seem to sit down inside the blues. It has the feeling to me of that point when you know summer is saying goodbye with the fog's morning return to the fields.

Plain Weave   For nearly twenty years, these simple towels have been the workhorses of my kitchen: drying wine glasses, tomatoes, and hands. And yes, I have been known to mop up spills and scrub my stove with them.
