Lovegrass

Originally, I named this collection after a spiky little native grass that grows near my home in the Hudson Valley. I love its plucky resilience and its willingness to jump in to tough spots and grow. But then I learned that it has prolific (sometimes too prolific?) cousins on every continent and I realized lovegrass is near everyone. And that makes sense. After all, isn’t that what a plant called love should do? Be nearby and willing to jump in anywhere?
